Perfected Through Blending and Roasting

お茶は、いくつかの茶葉をブレンドされた「ブレンド茶」が一般的。選りすぐった様々な茶葉を掛け合わせて、さらに美味しい味わいを創り出すブレンドの技。 火入れ具合を「点」で決める非常に繊細な焙煎の技。 よい茶葉を仕入れる目利きの技を合わせ、この三つの技こそが美味しさの違いを生み出す、まさに匠の技。

Most tea is enjoyed as a blend, created by combining multiple tea leaves. Through the art of blending, carefully selected leaves are brought together to create a deeper, more refined flavor.

Roasting is an exceptionally delicate craft, where the degree of firing is determined with pinpoint precision. Combined with the discerning eye required to source truly exceptional leaves, these three skills come together to create a distinct difference in taste.

This is the true craftsmanship of a tea master.

Its balance of strength and elegance comes from the misty mountain soils of Hokusatsu in northern Kagoshima, where tea plants grow slowly in a cool, natural environment. The tea brews to a clear, pale golden-green color—another distinctive feature of Ikeda’s lightly steamed tea.
